SERVICES FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN
No one is immune from the stresses and strains of family life. We know that so many things can make things more difficult than usual. We are familiar with working with families experiencing the impact of poverty; bereavement and loss; divorce and separation; depression; physical and/or mental illness/ substance misuse; challenging behaviour in children etc.
If things are very difficult you may decide to contact your local Social Services or NHS to seek advice and support. Sadly due to massive funding cuts, these agencies are no longer able to help everyone who seeks their help. If they can’t help, you may find that your child’s school or your GP has some counselling provision in house for little or no charge. If not we are here to help.
FOR FAMILIES WITH LOW INCOMES:
If your child has had free school meals at any time over the last 6 years, their school will be provided with a Pupil Premium to enable the school to purchase extra provision for your child. It may be worth you speaking with their school to enquire if this money has already been spent or if it could be used to purchase counselling/therapy services.
If you have any questions please feel free to use the form on the Contact Us page.
